I guess the fact that it is close to anywhere in Cairo, two minutes from ring road
The staff was not so helpful. I asked them to find out which terminal my flights takes off, and they said that I should call myself.
The hotel itself was excellent and the staff helpful. We even had a panoramic view over the nile. Good sized room.
You need to feel OK about taking Cairo taxis from outside the hotel to travel anywhere ... nowhere locally to eat apart from in the hotel.
The staff at the front office is very friendly. A special thank to Mr. Hamdy who has been very kind to us at dinner on our first evening. On our coming back after a few days tour we were given a suite for the same price. Very nice breakfast and the rooms are clean and large. Very good quality for the price. You can get a taxi to the centre at a very reasonable price (20/25 Eg.pounds approx. 3 Euro).
The rooms were clean and comfortable. The view from the window was beautiful. The view from the roof was spectacular. We particularly loved looking across the rooftops of all the apartments. We felt safe and the staff was helpful. Breakfast was particularly good and extensive.
We were told by the staff that the swimming pool was open and heated. It actually was empty and the area appeared to be closed. It probably was a language misunderstanding.
Good restaurant and breakfast.
Noisy. This is a problem for most hotels in Cairo. Traffic is terrible and a lot of noise come from the street. Also, the bathroom was not perfectly clean.
it was way less than my expectations. I wonder how it is classified as 4 or even 3 stars hotel!
Security staff do not respect privacy of the guest. Rooms are not clean especially the bathrooms. The beds are not comfortable at all. Location is awkward and context is unworkable.
The hotel was very comfortable and clean, the attention of the staff, very attentive and friendly
Maybe a little bit the surroundings of the hotel and the noise of the street.
Every staff person at this hotel went out of their way to make sure you had what you needed. They went beyond what was expected and I enjoyed my stay there due to their hospitality.
This hotel should not be considered 4 Star. There was no shampoo in the room, the hairdryer didn't work, and the location is in a very poor area of the city.
Nothing, except the behaviour of two three people in the reception (norning staff). Very disappointed! Croudy and noisy hotel with very poor level of quality! The price and the ...stars are not "justified" by the quality offered at this hotel!! 50 USD is the most which somebody has to pay (for a double room) for this hotel!!! It is not located in nice are (ships on the front street!!!)! Unfriendly staff
-welcome with immediate asking for prepaying the whole amount of our stay there (fist shock). Then the hotel was not located as they describing in the website. It is far for the center and not at the place showed in the map! This has been confirmed also by our business partner there, a local person!!!! Third, the cleaniless in the rooms was below...zero! Dust at the glasses (on tables) were very dirty! I opened the refrigarator and on the doors was rest of drinks, not cleaned and we touched it to open by tissue! The bath was dirty and the bowls (bath, wash and toilette) were yellowish! On the carpet, you could immediately recognize that it was not cleaned and many stamps of spots! The only one acceptable part in the room was the bed!
Simple hotel. a bit far from the center of cairo but comparitively cheaper than centrally located ones.
The bathroom cud be better taken care of.
For single for some how is ok
this hotel is not 4 stars hotel may be 2 to 3 stars
The hotel and the room was very good, we actually got a nice suite. It was very noisy during the night as it is located in the main road. The breakfast was absolutely awful, no choices of fruit or cereals. There are no restaurants or places to eat around so you have to take a taxi to go anywhere.
Politeness of staff were excellent, Room service was excellent....
Swimming pool was out of use, area is Ghetto area
The Swiss Inn Nile Hotel is a good standard hotel. The rooms are clean, the food is good, the staff are courteous and the location is very close to the pyramids. The pool is small but ok. It is very good value for money.
